ARTIST STATEMENT
There are several themes that I return to again and again in my art. I love the edges of light as they come together, how shadows and light flow in and out, the ephemeral nature of shadows, that mark our presence somewhere, someplace, for just a moment and are gone. Memories, time and space, relationships with family and friends, become visions in my inner life. The serendipity of a single moment or impressions of years of experiences combine to become inspirations.
